Nashville, TN – As we welcome in the cool air of fall, we are reminded that Advent and Christmas are just around the corner. To get an early start to the season, Dana Jorgensen is just completing his first Christmas EP CHRISTMAS AND HYMNS on October 15, through the Mosaic Artistry Group.
Track listing includes Dana’s original song “When Love First Cried”, along with traditional Christmas favorites and hymns “O Holy Night”, “O Come All Ye Faithful”, “Come Thou Fount” and “Come O Come Emmanuel.”
Dana explains, “I wanted to write ‘When Love First Cried’ because it takes a different approach to the telling of the Christmas Story. This song brings insight into the difference of what Christmas was when Jesus was born and what it has turned into now. Jesus was born into humble surroundings in a stable where there were likely no sounds but the nearby animals. There were no carols being sung families giving gifts or a huge meal, just the beauty of His birth.”
“When Love First Cried” is currently being serviced to radio for the holiday season.
